You won't get any break on price, and by the time you're ready to sell it, the car will no longer command the top dollar you paid-you'll overpay, and undersell. Think of the Hummer when it first came out, or the New Beetle, or the Mini Cooper. Any dealer who was lucky enough to have one of those on his lot had no reason whatsoever to let it go at less than top dollar, which often meant he was able to sell it for more than the (too high) list price. If you buy the car everyone's talking about, you're probably going to wish you hadn't.<br />We also strongly encourage you to avoid cars in the first year or two of release.
